In light of the ever-developing COVID-19 situation, our office is excited to introduce telehealth as a means of continued care during this era of social distancing. Through the use of telehealth platforms, our providers and staff are proud to be able to provide the support patients need.
As our community begins to open back up, providers and patients island-wide are still enjoying the many benefits of telehealth. Visits are available throughout the day and are conducted remotely. This increased convenience means no more sitting in traffic to come and sit again in a waiting room and quicker turnaround times to get you back to enjoying your day! Furthermore, follow-up visits for chronic conditions, acute symptoms, and a multitude of other concerns are now able to be completed through Zoom, our office’s platform of choice. Our office is proud to introduce Zoom as our telehealth platform of choice. This video-chat application may be familiar to those working or meeting remotely, but now can also be used to meet with your preferred providers from the comfort of your own home or wherever else you may be! For the visit, all you’ll need is the Zoom app, available on both the Google Play Store (Android) and the App Store (iPhone). Setting up a secure line of communication between patient and provider is easy with Elation, our electronic medical records system. All that’s required is a valid e-mail address and mobile phone number.
Using the Elation patient portal, you can:
- Send and receive private messages through the patient portal
- Schedule appointments
- View past visit notes, labs, and assessments
