Dr. Blane K. Chong

My focus is on prevention for a lifetime of optimal health.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Dr. Blane K. Chong has been practicing family and sports medicine since 1991. Having worked as a paramedic while completing medical school, his life’s work has been dedicated to helping and healing his community even before beginning his journey as a physician. Believing that preventative care is key for optimal health, Dr. Chong empowers patients by providing resources and examples for healthy living.

Dr. Chong is passionate about learning, and is constantly adding skills to his arsenal to better serve you and your family. In his spare time, Dr. Chong enjoys paddling, coaching, and sharing knowledge with those around him.

Throughout his life, Dr. Chong has participated in a variety of sports – from basketball to powerlifting. A passionate athlete, Dr. Chong paddles and coaches for Keahiakahoe Canoe Club and Outrigger Canoe Club. His love for sports and maintaining his physical peak was the catalyst for his career in medicine, and continues to motivate him to this day.
